Humour is one of the vital pillars of human interaction. On a surface level it is a joy bringer but it is also at the core of coping and comfort. Humour is a prevalent theme in my design practise. I often look through a satirical lens and enjoy creating provocative designs that challenge contemporary norms. Even within a serious context, I believe that design solutions should engender moments of laughter and charm. I aim to use these techniques to question deeply ingrained and accepted systems.

As a user-centred designer, I believe in the necessity of observation and collaboration within my design process as a way to ensure informed decision making, putting the user at the heart of design outcomes.

My current interest lies in challenging the health and wellbeing systems of the West which can often seem rigid and detached.
